The Conjuring

The Conjuring is a 2013 American supernatural horror film. The movie is directed by James Wan. In this movie the stars Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as (Ed and Lorraine Warren) are paranormal investigators who come to the Perron Family’s farmhouse after the request of the family because they are experiencing increasing disturbances in their farmhouse in Harrisville, Rhode Island 1971.

 

The Conjuring movie was released in USA on 19^th July 2013 and in India this horror film is going to release on 2^nd August 2013.

Story of the movie ‘The Conjuring’:

In 1971, Carolyn and Roger Perron move to an old farmhouse with their five daughters in Harrisville, Rhode Island. In the first day the whole family moves smoothly into the farmhouse except their dog.

But after some time strange things started happening in the farmhouse. Their dog was found dead. Then in the next days various paranormal activities started happening, doors open and close themselves.

Then at night, their young daughter Cindy sleepwalks into the eldest daughter’s bedroom, where she bangs her head repeatedly against an old wardrobe. Then things started going dangerous, at one night Roger is away in Florida and Carolyn is locked in the basement and her eldest daughter is attacked by a spirit that looks like an elderly woman.

 After these strange happenings Carolyn contacts noted paranormal investigators to help them. These paranormal investigators are Ed and Lorraine Warren.

Ed and Lorraine examined the house then they told the Parron family that in the farmhouse there is a spirit that targeted the Parron family.

During the process of researching of this old house’s history they find that the house belonged to an accused witch, Bathsheba. When Bathsheba’s husband caught her sacrificing their week old infant in front of fireplace, she climbed to the top of a tree on the property, cursed all those whose would take her property and committed suicide. They get information from many reports about many murders and suicides in this house.

To stop this evil, the Warrens will have to use their all skills and spiritual strength to defeat that witch at its source that threatens to destroy all of them who will involved in this in their matter.
