Ghanchakkar Review-Comedy and thriller Movie

Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan
Ghanchakkar
Finally, Ghanchakkar movie is released in the theatres of India. As known earlier, the story of the movie revolves around the four main characters of the film after the bank robbery. But how’s the movie? Is it full comedy movie or not? And the most important is it entertaining enough, to go to theatre to see this movie?

Ghanchakkar Movie Review:

All of us were waiting for the release of this movie. “Ghanchakkar” a Raj Kumar Gupta’s comedy and thriller movie is released today. But the movie did not score as much all were expecting. In the movie Sanju (Emraan Hashi) decide to retire from his criminal career but after a last heist. So he decided with his two friends Idris (Namit Das) and Pandit (Rajesh sharma) to rob a bank which would make sure that their future needs will be fulfilled. His friends give the responsibility of hide the money to Sanju. After therr months when they came Sanju don’t even recognize after an accident. So they stay  with him until he remember where he hide the money.

This Raj Kumar Gupta’s story perform well only on the paper but in the real life this becomes unable to entertain as per all people were thinking. The story of the movie looks like 1990s story which is in today’s period.

The first half of the movie is also some entertaining but after the interval it becomes boring. Some people don’t even understood what the film was. In it, Neetu (Vidya Balan) is very curious about money and her fashion styles which entertains a lot. In this movie, Idris and Pandit play long time than the main characters of the film. As Raj Kumar Gupta came with different idea of mental case but its characters did not do as well according to expectation.

The second half of the film was quite boring due to same and repetitive acts. Many acts of the film was looking very normal to the audience like daily phonecalls of mother in law of Sanjay makes him angry.

While the acting of the stars was also not upto the mark. Emraan Hashi played his role well but Vidya Balan really steal the show with her rough comedy and along with her performance. The performance of Emraan Hashmi was fantastic. He played his role naturally who loves his TV more than his wife and as a lazy person all the day watched TV.

But it is not that the film is full boring it is quite good and make you laugh for at least 1 hour. The thought of Raj Kumar Gupta was excellent to choose Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi for this movie.

The songs of the movie are also good. The music is excellent.

As a whole the Ghanchakkar movie is average as it was expecting more but it fails to impress people to such a level that it was produced before releasing. But you can watch this movie as this movie is a mixture of love, comedy and thriller.
