NDA Exam 2013 –
National Defense Academy and Naval Academy are popularly known as NDA and NA.
The exam of NDA or NA is conducted by UPSC twice in every year. The NDA exam
2013 are taken by UPSC in all India level to admit young cadets in National
Defense Academy and Naval Academy to give training to them to join as officers
in the Armed Forces of the country.
It is a national level test therefore lot of aspirants tries every year to get selected in NDA.
On 11th August 2013 the second NDA exam of 2013 is going to held.
Eligibility Conditions:
Educational Qualification-
For Army Wing of NDA For Army
Wing the candidates should have 12th pass with 10+2 pattern of School Education
or equivalent examination conducted by the State Board or a recognized
University.
For Air Force and Naval Wing
of NDA and for 10+2 Course at Naval Academy Candidates must be 12th pass with
10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent to Physics and Mathematics
conducted by State Examination Board or a recognized university.
Those candidates who are currently in 12th class or have given the above said exam are also applicable to give NDA Exam 2013 but the condition for them is that they fulfill the above mentioned conditions later.
Age Criteria:
The candidates should have between 16-1/2 to 19 years.
NDA Exam 2013 Different Levels:
This is a two level exam in which the first exam is written exam and
those candidates who clear the written exam then they have to give the second
level exam that is SSB interview taken by the Staff Selection Board.

NDA Interview Pattern:
SSB conducts the interview of those candidates who qualified the written exam to
test their physical, Psychological fitness and team spirit necessary for the
Defense Services. The SSB interview consists of 900 marks.

NDA Exam 2013 Syllabus:
NDA Exam consists of 2 exams one is of Mathematics and other is General Knowledge.
Each paper will be of 2-1/2 hours consisting of 300 and 600 marks.
Mathematics- The syllabus of the mathematics exam is general mathematics up to 12th standard.
General Mental Ability- The paper of General Mental Ability paper consists questions from Physics (100), Chemistry (60), General Science (40), History (80), Geography (80) and Current Events (40).
