BSF Recruitments 2013 –How to Apply and Details of Vacancies

The BSF (Border Security Force) is the border guarding force of the Indian Government. It was established in 1965 and it is one of the Central Armed Police Forces. From time to time BSF conducts Recruitments for the new comers.

Now   Ministry of Home Affairs and Directorate General of Border Security has published notifications for vacancies in the BSF. These posts are of   SI(Sub Inspector), ASI(Asst. Sub Inspector), Head Constable and constable.

Elgibility Criteria :

Qualification: Candidates must posses 10 +2 or equivalent Degree/ Diploma for the post of SI (Staff Nurse) and ASI(Pharmacist-Qualified) and for the post of SI(Sr Radiographer) 10 +2 with science or equivalent is required. For the post of ASI(OT Technician 10+2 with science or equivalent plus Diploma in the same field.

For the post of HC(Electrician) matriculation or equivalent is required plus diploma. For the post of C(Dresser) 10^th or equivalent and should have First Aid Certificate St. John’s Ambulance Organisation or from Red Cross Society of India.

Age Limit:

SI (Staff Nurse)                        21-30 Years

SI(Sr Radiographer)                 Not Exceeding 30 years

ASI(Pharmacist-Qualified)      18-25 years

ASI(OT Technician)                20-25 years

HC(Electrician)                        18-25 years

C(Dresser)                                18-25 years

Selection Procedure :

First of all candidates have to clear the Written Test consisting objective type questions then they have to face Physical Test after Physical Test, Interview and Medical Examination has to be cleared for the selection.

How to Apply for BSF Recruitment 2013:

To Apply for the recruitment firstly download the application form from the original site of the BSF , New Delhi. Original site of BSF New Delhi is (www.bsf.nic.in).

After filling the application form the candidate have to submit this form at the PST/PET centers which are mentioned in the notifications within the last date which is 16^th July 2013.
