CRPF is Central Reserve Police Force. It has completed 60 years of glorious history. Recently CRPF published notifications for the vacant posts of CRPF Constable (Technical/ Tradesmen). The specifications of these jobs are:

Details of CRPF Jobs:

To apply for CRPF Constable (Technical/ Tradesmen) the candidate should be the citizen of India. For both Male/Female he or she should ordinary resident of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan.

Qualification for the CRPF Constable (Technical/ Tradesmen):

Those candidates want to apply for this post should have passed matriculation or equivalent from the recognized board.

Technical Qualification :

For Drivers -  Applicants should have Driving License and have to pass the driving test taken by the CRPF.

For Fitters – For the post of fitter applicant should have 2 year ITI diploma certified in Mechanical Motor Vehicle issued by National council of Vocational Training and approved by DGET, Ministry of Labour.

For other Trades i.e Bugler / Tailor / Brass Band / Cobbler / Carpenter /Gardener / Painter / Cook / Water Carrier / Safai Karamchari / Barber / Washer Men/Women should be proficient in their respective work.

Age Limit for the Post of Constable(Technical/ Tradesmen):

Those candidates can apply for these jobs which are between 18 - 23 years as on 01-08-2013. They should not be born before 02-08-1990 and not later 31-07-1995.

Pay Scale for these Jobs:

For these jobs there is pay scale of 5200-20,200 Rs, means for all these jobs salary will lie between this scale.

Selection Procedure:

Applicants have to pass these test to get these jobs. These tests are Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Standard Test, Height Bar Test and Race.

Physical Standards:

For Male Candidates Only –  Height

170 cm for the candidates which lie in the general categories and 165 cm for the candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Dogras, Gorkhas, Marathas and candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and State of Jammu &
Kashmir and 162.5 cm for the category of Scheduled Tribes.

 For Female Candidates Only- Height

157 cm for General category candidates. 155 cm for the candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Dogras, Gorkhas, Marathas and candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and State of Jammu & Kashmir and 150 cm for the category of Scheduled Tribes.

Physical Efficiency Test :

For (Driver/ Fitter) candidates have to cover 5 km in 24 minutes.

For Bugler / Tailor / Brass Band / Cobbler / Carpenter /Gardener / Painter / Cook / Water Carrier / Safai Karamchari / Barber / Washer Men/Women should be physically fit in all respects.

Males should be able to run 1 mile in 10 minutes and for the females there is relaxation of 2 minutes they have to run 1 mile in 12 minutes.

Medical Standards :

Minimum distant vision of the both eyes should be 6/6 and 6/9 without wearing glasses or eye lenses. They should be full physically and mentally fit for this job and they should be free from any physical disorder and defect for the good performance on their duties.

How to Apply the Vacancies of Constable(Technical/ Tradesmen):

There is a Application fee of Rs50 which can be paid by post or by demand draft.

Application form has to sent to Application Receiving Centres made by the CRPF before 1st July 2013.
